Privacy policy

Nora Gifts (“we”, “us”) operates noragifts.com, a print studio based in India. We sell wall posters, handmade crochet, and personalised photo magazines.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we do not do, especially with photos you use in the magazine builder.

When you use the magazine builder at /start, photos you add are kept in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) so you can arrange layouts and preview your magazine. This data stays on your phone or computer, not on Nora Gifts's servers.

When you place a magazine order, we receive only metadata needed to fulfil the job: album title, page count, orientation, cover and paper choices, quantity, and your delivery details. We do not receive the image files themselves through checkout.

Immediately after a successful order, our app clears your magazine photos from local storage on that device. If you want a personal copy, download a PDF from the builder before ordering. That file is saved by you, not by us.

To print your magazine, we contact you (usually on WhatsApp) using the phone number you provided at checkout to collect your photos or a PDF you choose to share. Anything you send us that way is used only to produce your order.

When you buy from the shop or place any order, we collect:

• Name
• Phone number
• Delivery address (street, city, state, PIN code)
• Order contents (products, quantities, custom options)

We use this to process payment, print and ship your order, send status updates, and respond to support requests. Order records are stored in our database (Firebase / Google Cloud, India region where applicable).

You can look up an order at /orders with your order ID. Guest checkout is supported; we do not require an account.

Custom poster orders work differently from magazines. When you upload a photo for a custom poster, that image is stored in our secure cloud storage so our print team can access it. It is linked to your order and used only for printing and fulfilment, never for advertising or resale.

Cash on delivery: no payment data is collected online. Razorpay / online payment: you complete payment in Razorpay's checkout. We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs, or full payment credentials. Razorpay processes payment according to their own privacy policy.

We use Google Analytics to understand which products and pages are popular, and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel together with Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to purchases and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.

When you place an order, our server sends Meta a record of the purchase. Contact details in that record (email, phone, name, city, PIN code) are hashed — turned into an irreversible code — before they are sent, so Meta cannot read them; they are used only to match the purchase to an ad view. We do not sell visitor data, and these tools are disabled entirely on builds where they are not configured.

You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings, your device's ad-privacy controls, or your Meta ad preferences.

• Magazine builder photos: deleted from your device immediately when your order succeeds (see above).
• Order records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and customer support.
• Custom poster files: retained for fulfilment and reprints if you contact us about the same order.
• Analytics & ad measurement: handled by Google and Meta under their own retention policies (see “Analytics & advertising” above); we do not sell visitor data.

You may ask us what data we hold about your orders, request correction of delivery details, or ask us to delete support correspondence where legally permitted. Because magazine photos are never stored on our servers during design, there is nothing for us to delete on our side until you voluntarily share files for printing.
